Recovery Curriculum
Recovery Curriculum
Covid-19 was, and remains for many, a traumatic event. The common thread running through all is sudden separation from all our usual routines, structure, friendships, opportunity, freedom and the predictable pattern and rhythms of life. This has had a significant impact on many, some of u may have been able to ‘take it all in our stride’ but all of us will have experience some moments of anxiety and bewilderment.
At Northbury Primary School, we have put pupils’ wellbeing at the centre of our thinking through building our Recovery Curriculum around:
- Rebuilding positive relationships
- Securing pupils emotional wellbeing and feeling safe
- Identifying and addressing the gaps in children’s learning
- Continue to develop the metacognition skills and learning behaviours necessary for pupils to learn.
