Welcome back, Year 2! We hope you had a super fun break during half-term and that you are all ready for more exciting times ahead. This time, in Year 2, we're going to explore the wonderful theme of 'Wonderful World.' Let's dive into this exciting theme together!

English - Unusual places to live (non-fiction unit)

Maths - Measurement (weight, volume and temperature)

Humanities: Geography - 7 Wonders of the World

Science: Living things and their habitats

Art/DT: Wonders of the world - clay work. 

PSHE/RSHE: Changing me

This term, pupils will learn about life cycles in nature, understanding changes beyond their control and their feelings about them. They'll explore ageing, identify respected older individuals, and reflect on their own growth with pride. Pupils will also develop assertiveness in expressing likes and dislikes and look ahead to changes in Year 3, identifying what they are excited about and worried about.
