Northbury Primary School, is located in the heart of Barking and it’s diverse and vibrant community.

Our goal, is to make diversity and anti-racism central to our curriculum and practice, so that everyone feels valued and accepted for who they are. We are proud that our pupils and staff represent a diverse local and global community.

 

We strive to provide a broad and diverse learning experience that promotes equity of opportunity, diversity and inclusivity. As a Rights Respecting school, we encourage pupil voice and participation in achieving our visions and aims.

Modern Slavery Awareness Day at Northbury Primary School

This video captures the Ride For Freedom Modern Slavery Awareness Day at Northbury Primary School, Barking & Dagenham London. Across three assemblies, reaching approximately 700 pupils, the children learned about freedom, fairness, and exploitation, and how these concepts relate to modern slavery, through the lens of cycling.
